Today’s Spotlight is Megan! Megan is the new Education and Marketing Intern for the summer! Megan’s hometown is Hartford, SD, and will be a senior at South Dakota State University this fall. She is majoring in Agricultural Communications with minors in Marketing, Human Resources, and Animal Science. Growing up Megan showed horses and is now a part of the SDSU Equestrian Team. She found her passion for Agriculture through her involvement in FFA in High School.
Megan’s favorite thing about the museum is the connections people have to it, “listening to the stories people have about the Stockyards and seeing their excitement as they see familiar faces in the exhibits.” Her favorite exhibit is the farm-to-table area and watching as people make the connections to agriculture and the food and products they see in the grocery store.
